Need help with EyeTV Netstream 4Sat

Hi all.

After looking at the community tuner list I saw that the EyeTV Netstream 4stat worked for others.

Mine arrived today, I set it up and Plex saw it on the network perfectly fine.
I selected: 28.2E, None, and KU-Linear (Universal) as the options.
Scanned channels and it found like 788 channels.

Put in my post code, and selected FreeSat South Satellite also tried Sky HD one.

It downloads the guide and all looks well. When I click play I get: Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna. Tried many channels and retried many times.

Also it says: 788 channels— 89 enabled

Does anyone have any idea where I went wrong?

If I use the EyeTV app and use 28.2 Astra E it plays everything perfectly fine without issue.

No one can help?

It hasn’t even been a full day – it may take a few days for someone with a similar setup, etc. to visit the forums, see you post, etc.

Is 4 days long enough?!
I only bought this tuner due to the community spreadsheet.

Hi, you have to connect at least the first 3 Sat inputs with your Multiplexer (The first Plex Stream goes to input 3, the second stream/recording to input 2, the third stream/recording to input 4 and the fourth stream/recording to input 1). After that you go in the Netstream App on your mobile device to settings -> LNB-Settings -> and then you choose the number of connected cables.

Thanks @Familie-Bellmann , I have Sat 1 & 2 populated.
I can use the netstream app and it plays perfectly… I just cannot get it to work in Plex

I only have 2 sat connections… In the app ive set it to 2 inputs.
Is this right?

Holy cow!
So I moved my connections to 1 and 3, and it works!
So in theory I should use 2&3?

@Familie-Bellmann

it could work, but the Netstream app will show up “no signal” because the app thinks that you have connected 1 and 2. The best way is for you to use a multiplexer that you can connect all four inputs from the the multiplexer to the Netstream4Sat. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplexer

The two cables from your sat dish goes to the Multiplexer input and then from there four cables to the Netstream4Sat

Mate you are a legend! @Familie-Bellmann
Do you know of a good multiplexer for the UK?

Sorry, with a twin LNB it is not possible to use a Multiplexer, they need a Quattro LNB to work.

So I ordered one of these
Mini Portable 2x4 JS-MS24 Satellite Signal Multiswitch LNB Voltage Selected 950-2400MHz Multiswitch LNB Receiver Multiswitch https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07YSC44T5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0eDdEbMPQ2EDG

Will report back if it works when it arrives in a week or two.
I have absolutely no idea if it will work right or not. But might as well try
