Need older version of plex media server for wdmycloud

Does anyone know where i can get a 1.2x version of PlexMediaServer for WDMycloud.
i have been updating it and now on 1.32.x and i get lots of cpu errors and transcode, and it is really slow
i am hoping going back to an old version it may work better on my old NAS WD Mycloud NAS server

I think troubleshooting would be in your best interest, I think ChuckPa DB repair tool GitHub - ChuckPa/PlexDBRepair: Database repair utility for Plex Media Server databases might do you a lot of help. thanks i have downloaded it, you dont have an older version do you?

i also have installed the dbrepair but get error
syntax error: you disabled math support for $((arith)) syntax

it says it supports wd os5. this is os3 , i guess thats the issue!

How far back do you need to go? I grabbed the last 1.2x release.

not sure getting the same ‘speed issue’ on 1.2x you got an early 1.1?

Which specific model please ? (Important)
Also, a version if you know it ??
There are multiple older binaries to choose from.
I also need sort through the OS5 and non-OS5 (presume OS3) binaries

hi, its a WD my cloud mirror its OS3 firmware version is 2.13.108

basically a year ago plex worked great from apple tv and lg tv to it but now it is soooo slow and get cpu errors and all sorts.

i wondered if an older version of plex would work as i have been updating as and when versions come out.
nothing has changed on the NAS firmware side.

obviously apple tv app updates, but my old lg tv i dont think the app has updated.

could the library be corrupt?

I don’t know what can be done with your box.

  1. WD turned off math support so the script won’t work. DUMB DUMB DUMB
  2. It’s OS3 – which is dead
  3. It’s getting slow for you because it’s that weak.

It’s time to use it as storage and move Plex elsewhere.
