Not sure if there is already a suggestion for this but I’m suggesting an option to choose which type of season selection view you would like. I personally do not like having to click through multiple pages to get to the season I want and also having to look at some low quality season posters for most shows. Infuse already implemented this feature and it works really well not having to see the posters page and saves quite some space not having to scrape the season posters as well.

I think you should already be able to do that in Plex Web. Are you looking for this in a specific app/client?
How so? And preferably on all clients. Like you can see on the screenshot of infuse, they no longer have a section for selecting individual seasons by clicking on posters. You open up a show and it takes you automatically to the most recent season and episode that you were watching. If you need to change the season you just click on the drop-down season selector. The hide seasons feature that I think you are referring to does not work exactly (close tho) as stated here. Basically I’m suggesting an ability to get rid of individual season posters completely and the associated page and replace that with a season selector like you see on pretty much every other streaming platform out there. This might result in a performance increase if plex does not need to grab season posters and serve them.

Ah okay we are talking about 2 different things. I’m talking about getting rid of this screen and all these posters completely and just jumping straight to the show… you know… like all other streaming platforms.

There is a setting named “Seasons,” available at both the library-level and for individual series. At the library-level, the options are “Show,” “Hide,” and “Hide for single season series.” If the “Hide” option is selected, when you select a series in clients it will just show a flat list of episodes, without the interim step of selecting a particular season. (It work similarly for individual series, but the “Hide for single season series” option isn’t available.)
To set this option, edit either your library or a particular series and select the “Advanced” tab.
This is a bit messy as it just dumps all episodes into a single list. But it does allow you to bypass the season selection.

Right. This is exactly what I’m suggesting but instead of being messy add a season selector just like in the screenshot below and get rid of that intermediate season selection screen above completely.
