NetGear RN-214 New Install PLex Media Server

I had to reformat my NAS, it is a NetGear RN-214 when I try to install the Latest version from the download page it wont install on server. When I download the other file from Download page which is just the ARM7 version it installs but movies will not play. I get error about Direct Play. The same movies had played no issue in past releases for 2-3 yrs.

can you get the server DEBUG log files ZIP file and atttach it?

Hi Chuck, I will as soon as Server finishes Copying the file back from backups, and if it still does same thing. Strange part is all the Files played fine on every device, but with the New Files in download section, I was getting Transcoder errors. I knew my Netgear was to weak to transcode years ago hence the reason I would convert movies to Avi/XVID, which always worked till this point.

Thank you for reponce and will post LOG when its populated and Plex Re-installed.

My Server still copying so haven’t installed Plex Server yet, kinda scared to. I was looking for a older version to install I know they worked without trying to do direct Play TransCoder warning.

I did see that this was not on after I reset Server and re-loaded everything the last time, I’m betting that this caused my play back issues and was not a plex issue. When all media is populated again, I will download newest version and if same happens will post log. Did they fix the download Link, as that was definitely website issue? Do you think not having DLNA Option on caused my media not to play like it used too?
