So I know that netflix doesn’t have linux support; But I was wondering – If I have a plex media server running on windows, with the netflix plugin / app installed, can I then use a plex media center / HT client on linux to watch netflix?
I searched around a bit but haven’t found a definitive answer yet. Some info I’ve found seems to indicate that the server needs the latest silverlight installed, which seems to indicate that the server is doing all the netflix-y stuff. If the server does all the work interfacing with netflix, and then just streams the video to the client, then I would think this would work?
Has anyone tried this…?
