I have setup local ip in the settings on plex in my tv but plex seems to need internet.
how to access my local content without internet.
You can’t with the LG app. The app is loaded over the internet, like the Web player. No internet means the app can’t load.
sure? then the setting manual server should be obsolet.
i have make a test.
- without internet the app doesn’t start.
- if I start the app with internet, unplug internet an try start a stream it doest work
- if I start a stream with internet, unplug internet the stream works and I can rewind through the whole movie
That is a different issue. That setting is valid, but only after the app loads.
makes no sense to me. then this option is no longer needed. i also know that it used to be different. we once had no internet for a few days and i was happy to have plex and to be able to play everything locally.
