Hi i just opened plex on my android smartphone and was met with the new GUI, which was exciting, however when i tried to play a movie from my server, i couldn’t get subtitles to load. After another few attempts with other movies and discovering the “CC” button, they kinda work, but switch off after the first line. Then the app tends to hang up and i have to close and restart it, but that doesn’t cure the missing subtitles. I’m 70% deaf and rely on being able to run subtitles, which is why I’ve stuck with Plex for so long, but it looks like things such as being able to select subtitle style, size & colour have disappeared too.
Please let me know if it’s a glitch that will be corrected, etc.
Having the same problem. We use subtitles when casting to a TV and the CC button doesnt do anything on our end. And not having the ability to change the settings of the subtitles was quite annoying as well. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.
