I do like the new design of Plex it’s a lot more refined and more modern. I don’t really have any complaints for the Smart TV (LG in my case) and desktop app because how it has been done really works well and it does make it look the same to an obvious extend. Definitely more unified, I especially love the new slideshow feature when you leave something paused for a few minutes on the TV.
However when it comes to the mobile app yes it looks nice and also unified my only gripe is that phones are not designed to scroll things through horizontally. I understand that if you rotate the phone then it works a lot better but I don’t find it intuitive or comfortable to have to browse my media that way. All I ask is that we can be given the choice between horizontal and vertical scrolling for things like TV episodes and seasons and Music albums as well Collections because its a pain when they are large and you have to keep scrolling to find what you want. I understand some people will like it which is why I ask for the choice to switch between it. Isn’t that why we all run out Plex servers for the choice on how it appears?
Also the ability to see the information for the file seems to have gone which is a shame seeing as you can delete media from the app now and it would be nice to see the details before doing that
