New Apple TV Software Update

I sat down a little while ago to watch some of my favorite shows on Plex on my Apple TV and discovered to my abject horror that there was a new software update that changed everything around! And of course it reset all my defaults! And I had to go through each and every one of my libraries to get rid of the blasted Recommended Library View which I find entirely useless for my purposes and my blood pressure was rising with each one and I was writing this message in my mind to lambaste you all once more for that useless Library View. Then I had to figure out how to reset my other default settings and my blood boiled over.

And then I found it.

A new default setting.

Default Library View.

You mean I could actually set that to Browse?

Meaning no more need to go through each Library to reset it?

That’s exactly what I’ve wanted ever since, well…

All I can say is thank you. I don’t care at all for the new look. But it doesn’t matter.

All I care about is not having to fix each and every one of my two dozen libraries.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

Oh, and you’ve fixed the coloring of subtitles and the episode extras now show up with the seasons. Those were my other two main gripes. So thank you for those fixes as well.

Of course, you’ve introduced a few new irritants, and I really don’t like the new look, but the new irritants are relatively minor, so overall, this was a good upgrade.
