Hi all,
I currently run Plex on a dedicated server that I rent. All my media is stored on Google Drive and I mount via PlexDrive. I recently had to migrate my old Plex install to a new one as the hard drive was failing. All went well and I migrated correctly, and the setup works.
However, now I’m getting issues when trying to add new shows to my library. Adding an episode or movie is fine, but anything more than a few episodes causes the install to tank. Went through the logs (and did a database repair) and found this message: “Failed to begin transaction (…/Statistics/StatisticsManager.h:201): Cannot begin transaction. database is locked”.
Long story short, I think my best option is to start from scratch. The only issue, as anyone who uses Rclone/PlexDrive knows, is that a scan will likely take a week or more to complete. Is there a way for me to copy out my database, and only add in movie/tv show information so that I don’t have to do a full scan again? I’m not worried about posters/watchlists/etc, that can all be pulled again. Any options or should I just start over and wait a week or more?
Thanks,
Peter
