New "downloads" movies don't full download

I have a playlist of “movies to watch”. I deleted and installed the plex app on my ipad to move all my synced content over to the new “downloads”. I play a lot of content off line as a travel, and every movie that downloaded only played for about 20 min. Some didn’t play at all. I deleted all the downloaded content and am trying again… so far, not impressed with the new downloads feature.

TV shows seem to work fine.

There is no conversion from Sync to Downloads. If you uninstall and reinstall, you’re just redoing Sync on the new install. To start over you’ll want to leave it on Sync, delete all the content that’s been Synced, then switch over to Downloads and Download everything again.
