At the bottom Live Tv, then you have to select source from Top left. Your Friendly Name
No Zoom… Mrs won’t be happy.

- Anyone else not able to zoom in on iOS?
All my 16x9 movies (ie most of them) are zoomed out so they aren’t even regular size.
No menu adjustments or tapping available.
Makes the app unusable on my phone

Why can’t I stream higher than 1080p anymore? It’s either that or 50Mbps+ for my remuxes

Basically the update made the app unusable for the one thing I use for: watching movies

What device specifically?
I don’t see any issues playing high bitrate 4K remuxes.
Maybe @Craig_Holliday could help with any playback issues.
having same issue with dovi 5 error. was working just fine until app update.
File is unplayable. DoVi (profile 5) color space is not supported

The new app is so ■■■■
, we can’t have default browser tabs, content loading so long so what i see is only this. There is lack of functions like skip and no more polish language. Bring back fast plex app!!!

I have not found it slow on my iPad Pro M4, yes some functions are missing. Is your slowness with remote or Local? What version of iPhone are you using?
Ok, DVR is slower than what I had hoped, but not bad.
Local, i got 1gbs ethernet and iphone 14 pro, but the content is loading so slow on new app - on old app all works flawlessly

is Airplay not implemented yet because when pressing the button I only get my Fire Stick and Google Hub showing, no Apple devices like ATV and iMac.

You’re not comparing the prior “Preview” version, are you? You can’t have the new released version that is out today and the old app installed at the same time. The new Preview app completely replaces the old app now.

I cannot believe this is a public release! It’s still a beta (if not alpha). This stuff is barely usable.

I have two iphones - one first i update app on second one don’t update, so that’s why new app is crap - i can see both apps

I would happily join the beta and help out but TestFlight was not accepting new people. Now I just cannot watch the live tv anymore because it is forcing some kind of transcoding that was not needed in the previous app. Is there a way to roll it back please?

Observations of New Plex App on iPhone and iPad:

UI is very slow to respond to taps, making experience unpleasant.

Live TV Favorites are now broken up by source, used to enjoy aggregating sources into one list.

Live TV auto begins streaming antenna upon entering LiveTV, this creates lag waiting for stream to start increasing already laggy interface. Option to turn off please.

Live TV begins playing with audio on despite volume indicator in the muted position.

I was very concerned they wouldn’t have fixed this. Same issue carried over from Preview. I pointed it out in the preview thread.
This is an app killer.

Just updated to the latest version, but app freezes at the “Pick your Favorite Libraries” screen. I press continue and nothing happens.
Running ios 18.3 on iphone 16 pro. Plex server on QNAP Nas, with latest version of Plex and Qnap QTS.
I have tried terminating and restarting the app, deleting and re-installing the app, and turning the phone off multiple times,
Any suggestions?

We are missing the report button. Pokemon is showing the Pokemon Horizons the Series logo and I wanted to report that it’s incorrect, but it’s not there.

I unfortunately updated this app today and totally dislike it.
Like others have said already this app is nowhere near finished. I liked having the feature of selecting Music within this app.
I know you now have an app for music but it’s not the same as having it under one app
Also where are my Photos???.
I’m using a 16 pro max and the app is so slow. Live tv takes an age to start up and it’s freezing when selecting the top tabs (Guide, what’s on)
I’ve rebooted the phone makes no difference.
Please take this version from the Apple Store and replace it with the version previously available. This is not a polished app and is not functioning as it should be.

Anyone reading this, I recommend disabling auto-updates and just keep using the old app for now. The new one is pretty bad and aside from missing/removed features (Watch together) should never have been released this early.

Just waiting for them to flip some bullshit switch on the server side that makes the old app not work any longer. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s been some sort of switch in the server code for a long time…
