App on iOS isn’t functional or fit for release in any way.
My main use is PMS as a PVR using a network tuner so use live tv a lot.
There’s obviously key functions missing such as manage recordings, and various other things as far as I can tell.
But the app performance makes it unusable. It can’t load the guide or takes minutes to load. Not possible to navigate it without it timing out or crashing.
The app needs taking out of the store and the old version putting back until it’s feature complete and properly tested on a range of devices.
Live TV is not loading anything from my server, I think it’s because of live tv being region locked in the Middle East? I am unable to access my live tv.
On appletv preview app is the same problem - i can’t even scroll down to load more content, must move left and right to load more stuff, but on old appletv app and infuse all working great
I can share You my library, but please back to old app and publish it when You fix it, it’s horrible that we can’t use an app which is designed for something that not work
I asked about amount libraries and collections not amount of content but I can assume with that much content there is going to be a lot of collections generated and possibly more created. There is some performance lag when loading a title’s detail page when there is a large number of collections. Basically we’re fetching the collections on initial page load which is causing a performance hit when there is a large amount of collections to fetch. The solution (found in newer builds) is to make this fetching call for collections as a separate thread.
You should be able to confirm this is the issue by navigating to a details page of something that is without a collection tagged to it.
We need a downloaded icon. I’m not sure where that went, but I just downloaded an episode and it doesn’t show on the poster and when I go to the episode screen the download icon looks the same (it used to be white filled when it was downloaded). I clicked it and I got a message that it as already downloaded.
There’s a lack of indication that an item is downloaded.
Im talking about browse tab, i think i don’t have many collections, in collections there are 2-3 movies so its normal. Why new app have problem while old one don’t? You guys broke this app with new update and only rollback can make it „working”.

This “new” interface is horrible!! who signed this off?? The old interface was much better. Why am i being forced to look at “your” content when all i want to see is my own. Why has my music all been removed from the app this makes no sense whatsoever. I dont want to have to launch another app when i want to play music. I use plexamp already on my phone but just for playing my entire library on random. I have never and continue to not want to use it browse my music i play day to day in other ways because that then mucks up where i am playing all my music randomly. Why not have a seperate app for what you have just released for those that want all the live nonsense and leave the rest of us with the app we were already happy with for streaming our own librarys
Plex app on my iPad has just updated to the new version blimey it’s bad.
Only been using it for a few minutes and already frustrated.
App will no longer stay signed into my profile have to choose profile and enter pin every time I open app.
Music library no longer visible in app only in Plexamp lets hope they don’t mess that up too.
Downloading will no longer download original file every thing now transcodes even though it worked fine before, direct play still works and download quality is set to original but that doesn’t make any difference.
Some positive feedback, though: love the new design, and thank you for having it scale correctly into tablet view when unfolded, and also rendering EdgetoEdge with a transparent navigation bar. Drives me crazy as to how many apps don’t do that.
I am having an issue where I click on a TV show and sometimes I will get the seasons page and other times I will get the specials page that list the specials. Other times it will take me to a specific episode to play.
