Please redesign the folder view for content. Before, the folders were in a list and could be read very easily. With the new icon layout of folders, it’s just dribble!!! First, the name gets truncated because the title can’t fit in the Folder and then it gets truncated again below. So you have ugly icons and names that don’t fully show their content. A very bad UI. I hope this can get resolved in a future update. Thank you.

Really terrible experience so far. The app keeps stopping playback in the middle of episodes or movies as though the episode/movie had been finished (and it wasn’t).
Also HUGE battery drain even when it’s not playing anything but the app is open.
Primarily on iPad Pro 2018, iPad OS 18.4, and the latest Plex app version (as of 4/17/25).
I am now looking for an alternative and abandoning plex altogether. Very disappointing,

small bug? music added to my library triggers a plex app notification, but the redesigned plex app no longer supports music. so, when I click the notification, the plex app opens, but to the default library view, not to the album.

Today, I install Plex client (2025.13.0 (1025)), H.265 playback has been fixed by skillfully automatic - HW transcoded (4K (HEVC) into 10Gbps. Is it what you have mentioned “Fixed”. Yes, I think I have been treated as “Mickey”.

Is there any ETA for restoration of external video out and downloading seasons/shows?
It’s a pretty common use case to use Plex mobile on vacation or away from home by hooking it up to a TV and playing media you have cached on your phone. Losing both of those features breaks that functionality entirely.

Battery draining issues are getting fixed in the next release.
What issues are you having with external video out? This had been working for me with an iPad but let me know specifically what you are seeing and I’ll get it fixed.
This is being added in an upcoming release.

I ONLY want to see my media. The new experience is FORCING people to keep “Live TV” and “Discovery” on my home page. We need a way to hide these categories!!

on your server go to online media sources and set all to disabled
im still waiting for downloads to work, doesnt matter if i direct play or transcode, every file fails the instant it tries to download them

This is my post above about missing external display features.
I have two wi-fi networks. My main one 5ghz and a one set up in my far away kitchen 2.4ghz (which is just wired to my main network).
I installed the 2025.13.0 on my spare Android phone because I can’t on my daily Apple devices (as the beta and production app now share the same bundle id, I’m not yanking my legacy install).
If I’m playing a video and I change the network for better reception, the video currently playing would cut and start back from the beginning. @Craig_Holliday. I did notice the same issue on my iPad running 2025.12.0 (1011) from the now defunct TestFlight.
I’ll be looking into similar issues and will put this with the rest of my steps to reproduce.
