Is possible to do playlist for videos and for music, why not for photos?
I would have a slideshow of photos on TV (of selected pictures that are in different folders). It would be nice also to tag the pictures and then make a playlist with filter of that tag, in order to slideshow those tagged pictures only

yes cool, or just put in the playlist a mp3, and while doing the slideshow it plays that mp3.
Some media players do that.
Personally I would love to start with the playlist in pictures, I would use it a lot

You can now create photo playlists. I don’t know when it was introduced, but I discovered it in the 0.9.12.4 build of the web app.
Here’s how:
In Plex Web, view the image you want to add to playlist.
Click the ‘…’ link below the image.
‘Add to playlist’ is here.
I don’t think it is fully implemented yet, because you can only create it in this specific way. I assume the rest of this UI will be coming soon.
Plex Web plays this playlist without a problem, and you can start a music playlist, then start a photo playlist, and have both running. There is, however, a bug in the Plex for Roku Preview app. Playing a Photo playlist crashes the app.

FOund a bug: in windows 8.1 app the photo playlist does not start
also in Windows 10 does not work
