A request to be able to view photos while music plays. Right now if you view a photo, it stops music. Would be great for parties and family events.
I think this may depend on which app you’re using. I’ve noticed the same thing with the Plex app on Samsung TV, but that’s not an official Plex product.
The Plex for Roku app allows you to start music, then view photos without stopping the music.
Yeah, have yet to test it on everything. But on the browser or any of the windows apps it doesn’t seem to work.
Plex Media Player allows it. Might give that a try.
You are correct. Maybe I should update the requests to only be the web (browser). Since going to someones house to show them pictures, and play music so they don’t get bored to quick. Now, ask them to install this and link it to the account seems like to much for pictures and music haha.

Plex has been pretty consistent in statements that their goal is feature parity across all of their clients, so I assume it will happen eventually (though I know they encourage people to keep the comments coming). It’s possible that some platforms just won’t support it, but someone will have to confirm that.
