Keep Music playing and click through Photos

I was listening to my music and clicked over to my photo’s tab since i saw some new photos from my phone upload. When I clicked on a photo the music stopped. Makes sense, but would it be possible to keep my music going if I wanted to look at a photo? Different than organizing a slideshow playlist or something like that.

There is an existing request for this. Rather than splitting votes across several threads, it’s best to add your vote by clicking ‘Like’ on the first post in that thread.

In this case, some apps allow you to do this, some don’t. The Plex Media Player and Roku apps, for example, allow you to start music, then view pictures with the music still playing. I know the Web app doesn’t. Don’t know about others.

Edit: Ah, Plex for Android allows it too.

I thought this was already possible in Plex Web… it shows a mini-player at the bottom of the browser and continues playing as long as you don’t play different media with audio.

Hmm, I thought I put a link in my first post, but it looks like I forgot. It’s there now.

A simple search for photos and music in the Feature Request forum would have found it.

Seems like it used to do that, but, for me, when I open a photo, the music player stops.
