New files showing with 0 kbps bitrate and therefore unplayable

I run Plex Server from my Nvidia Shield Pro. I have a large database (approaching 5TB) pointing to external HDD. Starting today, when transferring various files (which I know are playable from xHDD [via streaming to laptop]), Plex shows only the file-size and not any supporting data. When attempting to play from within Plex client, I get a Error code: s1001 (Network). The “More Info” page shows a Size but a 0 kbps number. And, when viewing the files “Get Info” through Web Player, the Media column reveals no information at all.

Any help?

Is drive mounted correctly? I’d check the mounting first. Is it selected files or the entire library?
