The very nice people at Silicondust have released new beta firmware for their tuners.
You can get it from https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=20613
I needed this new version for a problem they have rolled into this public release. I’m letting you know about it with this post, but I have NOT yet given it a good level of testing yet on my home rig. It’s installed, and I’ll see how it works out over a few days of DVR use.
So…test for now. I’m hoping for good things…
Just put it on my extend so far working fine…

Hi,
We have confirmed a minor issue with HD channels not being flagged as HD - the fix is going through QA now.
Unable to play channels - can you please turn on “send diagnostic information” in both the app and in HDHomeRun Setup on Windows (Advanced tab).
Nick
