As it seems that the high powers at Plex don’t care that we have to to 5 times to access our libraries with the new iOs 5 UI, will it at least be possible to add an optional “Kid(s)” tab.
My 5 y.o. cannot access her content now, it’s mixed up with my content, and it sucks…
The greatest things would be to add back a direct browse by library like in v4, but, well, no response from Plex on this one.

Yeah, at least give us customization of categories names instead of “movies”, “tv”, “music” and “others” B)
SAME here…my granddaughter cannot get to her stuff now…what a huge pain in the ass they have made this… Really don’t know who thought up this new layout / GUI but they really have no clue what they are doing. It was just fine as it was. I designed GUI’s for software for many years… and if they have a person that does it…they need to be fired… If they destroy the TV versions of the GUI like they did the IOS version…I will END using plex and find another alternative… Some of my friends are already moving that direction because of the new update… BTW, if you don’t +1 the post it does no good. JUST commenting means NOTHING… And this goes for the original poster as well… Just creating this means nothing. You MUST click on VOTE.

But I have a suggestion even if I didn’t try it myself.
You can give rights to users, since it s a kid just make sure they do not have permission for anything above their age.
restricting music could be harder I guess.
The suggestion has nothing to do with permissions. It’s about the GUI. The new layout is a pain for kids…especially on IOS systems.
