New iOS Plex Experience - No Automatic Sign In for Managed Accounts

Just now update to the ne Plex App for iOS / iPadOS.
There are no option for automatic Sign In for the Managed account. For Home Admin we can go to the Settings => Account => Automatically Sign In - ON. But if we autorise as managed account we have no options for change login settings.
Please fix it.

BigWheel, is there a status on the auto sign in for managed accounts? Loving the new app, this is my only complaint.

I’m waiting on some clarification from some folks but they has today Monday off for Easter. But I from the bit i saw it seems the setting was not supposed to be their for Managed users in the old app. and it should persist if the a home user with full account enables it. Meaning you sign in, enable setting open user picker and give device back to them (since it was designed for folks you actually live with). The web app in browser for example does not have it for managed users either. When I get clarification I will let you know.

Someone was around. The “Automatically sign in” setting should have only be present for full/real accounts and not managed users. But if enabled, it should apply to all users. So, for instance, the parent can sign in on a device, enable the setting, switch to a managed user and then from that point on it should automatically sign in to that managed user.

It’s intentionally not present for managed users to avoid the scenario: parent doesn’t have it enabled, kid turns it on, somehow gets the parent to switch to the parent’s account, and now the app will automatically sign in to the parent’s account without their knowledge.

BigWheel, Thank you this worked for me, I signed in with my Admin account allowed automatically sign in and switched to a manage user and it is now working for me.

Might want to create a knowledge base on this item as I have seen many people asking the same questions.
