Every time when Users login, they are prompted to select the account, Is there an option to default login once they select the login.
Switch to the Home administrator account.
enter the settings of that particular Plex client app
enable “Automatic Logon”
switch back.
As long as you don’t log out completely (or allow the web browser to delete the cookies from plex.tv) the last-used member of the Plex Home will be logged in automatically.
@OttoKerner , seems that is not happening for me and my users. Tested with arounf 8 users separately, same with all of us.
in Android mobile, TV and web browser. first page prompt is select user.
Did you change the setting directly in the used client device/app? It won’t change anything if you set it in the web app on your own computer. You need to do it in the app/device which your users are using.
Steps I performed was.
For testing from my android mobile, i logged switch user to 2 account to see the outcome. then i switched back to power user account.
no other setting got changed.
The users cannot set the setting. it must be done by you. On the device of the users, not on your own device.
It is not stored in the account, but on the device.
I tried an option, in users device.
Web:
Setting> General> Automatically Sign In
In Mobile:
Settings > Experience > Sign in Automatically.
Seems this worked, let me know if any options can be enabled.
