My Mac died this week (was 10 years old) so I bought a new one. Restored Plex from time machine back up but when I try to load nothing happens and the plex icon does not show in system bar. Any ideas?
When you restore Plex from a time machine backup you usually need to re-link it to your account (sometimes there’s issues with different machine identifiers).
I’m not sure that should result in Plex not loading at all – usually it should still load but you might simply end up being locked out.
Can you check out the logs from that server? (Plex Media Server.log should do)
