New Movies Not Playing

If this doesn’t fix it then there is another problem somewhere else which I don’t know if I can resolve without hands-on (which i can’t do from here in the forum)

Stop Plex

1. Open File Station
2. Left Panel - Right-Click Plex
3. Properties
4. Permissions

You’ll see the permissions for the Plex share as seen

1. You’ll see user plex listed.
2. On some systems, I’ve seen plex listed twice.
3. We’re going to fix that now and reset the permissions for the entire Plex share

Here we go.

1. Delete user(s) plex from the Permissions window.
2. Don’t delete any other usernames listed
3. Now click “Create”
4. Popup appears
5. In the Username box (at the top) is a selector.. Click it.
6. Scroll down the drop box and find Plex.. check the box
   
   
7. click in somewhere else and the box will close - showing user ‘plex’
8. Now to assign permissions (everything)
   
   
9. OK that
10. When that closes, we are back at the main Permissions tab
11. Lower left - Apply to this folder, sub-folders, and files. – CHECK that box.
    
    
12. Click OK
13. Let it do its thing.
14. When done, Start Plex
