For the past few months, maybe since the last update?, Plex is no longer recognizing new music added to the watched folder. Rescanning doesn’t work. I removed the folder from Plex and re-added it. After the full rebuild of the library, those recently added music did not show up. Any ideas?
Reboot the server and try a manual scan after that.
I’m an idiot. Woke up this morning with a thought which turned out to be correct.
I don’t understand how or when, but iTunes moved the default folder. New music was not going to the correct location. iTunes is now cleaning up the mess and I expect that Plex will find those songs.
