I convereted to the new Plex Movie Agent a couple of months ago and movie match has not worked since. Nothing I do helps, deleteing the library and remaking it, The Plex Dance, uninstall Plex and reinstalling it, renaming every movie I have to match exactly how Plex suggests.
I am at a complete loss and I am not sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Running on custom built computer running Ubuntu.
I might have goofed the logs. Prepost said to not have Verbose enabled, but I had it enabled because there was someone in a random post that said that fixed their issue. I disabled and refreshed metadata before grabbing logs again. If I need to do something different please let me know.
So it looks like it has something to do with my VPN but I can’t seem to pinpoint the exact issue. I turn it off and it matches fine, turn it on and it just stops completely. I am using Windscribe and went through and whitelisted all the Plex domains I found and it still will not match behind the VPN. Strangely it’s ONLY this agent that doesn’t work. All the rest are fine.
It appears to be everything on the plex.tv domain according to the logs, which would cause issues with a great many things during normal operation of the server.
I’m having the same issue. Plex Movie Agent seems to be blocked somehow but the other agents work. I don’t run through a VPN but I have I pi-hole that has all the plex sites whitelisted.
I’m running plex pass server on NAS and I can’t ping plex.tv in the Jail shell but I can ping other external servers.
