Running the new experience app on a Samsung A9+ tablet. My server, which is on the same local network, appears offline in the app (though it’s online in Plexamp and Plex Dash). In the old app there is an advanced setting to allow insecure connections on the same network. If I uninstall the new experience app and installed the older app and change the insecure setting to ‘on same network’ the server appears online as expected. But when I upgrade the app to the new experience version, the server goes back to offline in the app, and there is no insecure connections setting to make it work like with the old app. I don’t have this problem with the new experience app on iOS. How can I make this work on my Android device?
EDIT: I should have mentioned that this problem started after performing the recommended password reset (and logging out all clients). It was working fine before.
UPDATE: I read in some other forum posts that restarting the Plex server might fix this. And it did for me. All is good again!
