New Plex app for Mac crashing after signing in

Not sure where to best report it, but I downloaded and ran the new Plex app for Mac (10.13.6 (17G8030)) today and it systematically crashes on right after I sign it.
I have the crash logs in case someone needs them (I wasn’t sure how to upload them here),

Same here, with a mid-2011 iMac (Mac OS: 10.13.6 (17G8030))

Same here. Just downloaded latest version. Open, after 5 seconds the app crashes.

Same here downloaded yesterday. Worked initially then a restart of my mac and it wont open, get the splash screen then shuts down with “Plex quit unexpectedly”. Please sort!!

Macbook Pro mid 2015, 2.5GHZ Intel i7…running OS Mojave.

The latest update form 27-08 still doesn’t fix the issue.

Thanks a million for letting me know.
Unlike the other thread, 1.2.0.875-b7362913 did not correct the issue in my case.
Disabling the scripting addition does indeed allow me to open the app without a crash.
Unfortunately though, it’s not a long term solution for me as I rely heavily on Antidote.

OK, the issue is also coming from here.

Unfortunately, I also use Antidote fairly heavily.

That’s a good strategy. Thanks for sharing the solution.
I can now launch Plex… though the app remains stuck on the splash screen :-\ It looks like I"m not out of the woods yet (but that might be a completely separate issue)
