latest update of PMS and Plex Desktop App as of Oct. 25, 2021.

When attempting to open the Plex Desktop App on my Mac I am given the following error message that “Plex Quit Unexpectedly” with a report. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but still the same issue. I am not using PMS on my Macintosh but on a Windows Server, which is working fine. The issue is ONLY with the desktop app for MacOS. I’m not sure how to get the log files from the desktop app or I would have provided them as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I did forget to add that I recently applied a ‘Security Update’ for macOS. Plex was working perfectly prior to this update, now it crashes a few seconds after opening the desktop application. Could this be the cause of the crash of Plex?

I’m having the same issue as well, immediately after the latest Catalina security update.

It looks like Plex player for Mac Quits unexpectedly and 1.35.1 + Catalina Security update = insta-crash are reporting the same problem.

Someone in dev please help!
