New "Plex" app interface navigation from keyboards/remotes

I use a windows air-mouse/keyboard combo to navigate the existing interface for “Plex Media Player” in a home theater. With the impending switch of focus to the new windows “Plex” app I installed it to test. Now navigation (left/right/up/down/enter) via the remote direction keys which use keyboard arrow mapping is inactive. The airmouse option I’ve found to be annoyingly “sticky” and hard to use. So what now? I’m considering switching to something like the Corsair K83 Wireless keyboard since it sports a joystick/track-pad combo and is back-lit. But it’s a pricey device to buy if won’t work and I have no way of knowing if the joystick would work in the new app. Does anyone know if joysticks operate at all in the new app?

Continue using PMP, and set Plex App aside. The former will continue on, as decided by Plex after the response they got. The latter is lacking nearly all the features you’re used to using, while PMP works great with Harmony etc.

Happy Plexing!

That’s great news about PMP, thanks…

Where do I get PMP? If I go to downloads and choose Windows, I only see Plex for Windows. (Plex Pass on)
