Just add arrow key support for Plex App - Solves HTPC issue

I love PMP on my HTPC with my main problem being that it doesn’t have a Live TV grid guide. I have remapped an old remote control using EventGhost to do keyboard actions to easily navigate the interface. Even my wife can run the system!

So I tried the new Plex app for Windows and it would work ok - except for the keyboard support. There are a few keyboard functions (and I found that the TAB key will navigate around a bit and the ENTER key works). However there is no support for arrow keys which are vital to navigation as an HTPC.

So, I’m begging you, Mr. Plex: Since I’ll have to switch from PMP, could you please just add arrow key (up/dn/left/right) support to the Plex app? My wife will give you a big kiss too!

YES! Please, that would make me switch easily!

I’m hoping they simply add the grid to the Plex Media Player app for Windows. Any idea why this has not been added??

PMP development has been discontinued. Dead product. Plex has alienated HTPC users with this action. The whole issue could be resolved by simply adding arrow key support to Plex app.

Yes I totally agree with this request to add keyboard navigation to Plex for Windows!
Why they would implement certain keyboard shortcuts, and not enable simple up/down/left/right navigation, is beyond comprehension.
I believe this would go a long way to nudge PMP users over to Plex for Windows for HTPC use.

Guys please, on a huge application like that how hard can it be to add Key navigation
