Anyone else having lots of issues with the new Android Plex app? It seems to have updated on my Android box and Plex is useless. It freezes, doesn’t load half of the application menu without restarting. When I try to select anything it completely freezes and takes minutes before it unlocks. How do I go back to the old Plex app? It was working perfectly!

dude just close your eyes and hit any random thread here. Everyone’s complaining about it. But good to know you’re upset too, lol.

For me, casting is blocked on my mobile by an ad-blocker. Disabling ad-blocker then fixes casting to a Google dongle, but still doesn’t show the TV or other devices. Then casting just sits on the Plex logo and doesn’t load. So that ended our weekly weekend film night with the kids. I updated the server, hoping that would fix it, and now my browser or Windows app can’t cast to the TV either.
OP is talking about an Android box. Not the mobile app.
A few days ago a development release was erroneously posted to some Android TV devices.
It should revert automatically, once you enter the Google Play Store app on your device and hit “Search for Updates”.
