New Plex App vs. Old Player 3.140.2

dear plex team,

I have tested the new Plex app against the latest desktop player 3.140.2. Here I noticed the following in the battery operation:

New Plax app playback of a 2.5 hour video.
Battery capacity at start 100%, after 2.5 hours battery capacity 8%

Plex Player 3.140.2 Play a 2.5 hour video.
Battery capacity at start 100%, after 2.5 hours Akki capacity 51%

The battery consumption in the new app, I think definitely too high.
Can anything be optimized there?

My equipment MacBook Pro 15 "- 2018
All videos with 2 MBit / s middle bitrate and H264 encoding.

Do you mean by this the Plex Media Player or the web app?

sure it can be optimizing, all the plex team has to do is goto the source files and delete the new app from existence. then copy and paste Plex Media Player codebase as is.

The old Plex Player Version 3.140.2 i used normally
