Just wanted to confirm I’m not missing an option somewhere, the new desktop player allows downloading for viewing files offline which is fantastic, I never thought the day would come! But it just downloads the original file, it has no option to transcode the file to a specific quality version then download correct? Very helpful when on potato hotel wifi and that 60GB blu-ray would look fine transcoded for tablet viewing…
You are not missing anything. The current implementation of download does not allow transcoding. That will come in a future update.

Thank you for the clarification, awesome to know the feature is coming back and not permanently axed. Super stoked to have sync on desktop operating systems!
