My iPhone and iPad now transcode the video section of MPEG2VIDEO files where before this player update they direct played. H.264 encoded files still play directly. I have Allow Direct Play and Allow Direct Stream enabled. I am connected to the same wifi network as the server. What else can I do to troubleshoot this issue?

Can you get the logs from the app after playing something with MPEG2VIDEO. Logs are gotten from Settings>About>Download logs

I updated to the new iOS client (2025.11.1(992) and it still transcodes mpeg files to H264. Attached are the log files from the new client. I also attached my server log files in case that helps.

Sorry I have been out.
I know devs have been working on various playback thing but I have no update for this one. Thanks for providing logs for new versions.
I just downloaded the new version (2025.13.0(1025) on my iPad and iPhone. This version fixed the transcoding of mpeg2 files for me on iOS 18.4.1. Thank you
