New Plex install - nowhere to add media

I’m on a windows machine and just installed plex. Once I log in, all I see in the upper left is ‘Looking for servers…’, then underneath that, ‘A server could not be found. Download and install Plex Media Server, and it will appear here.’

After that, I download again, and again, but never am prompted to add a new media server.

How in the heck can I get my content folder set up?

Did you perhaps install Plex server before on this machine, with different account credentials?
