New Plex Pass User. Shared Library with Friend not Showing Up

I have purchased the Plex Pass lifetime plan. I have shared my library with a friend, clicking allow all and no parental restrictions. She was able to login and accept the invitation. When she launches plex on her Apple TV and her Firestick, she does not see my library as an option to view. What is the process to have it be visible for her?

She might need to click on More in her main library navigation to see newly shared libraries.
If that’s it – she can either manually pin the libraries she likes or (if she doesn’t have a server of her own) click on Reset Customizations on the app’s home screen (this will allow her to pic her preferred server and libraries in one go).

If the libraries don’t show under More… please check:

  • There’s been an issue with the previous release of Plex on Apple devices – has she installed the very latest release of Plex for Apple TV? (as she cannot see the libraries on a FireTV device… this is an unlikely issue in your situation)
  • Have you verified your server is accessible from outside your home network (working remote access setup)?
