I was excited to see that there was an option to use a “new and improved” Plex player tonight as I was starting a movie on my nvidia shield and so far so good. One thing I REALLY miss is the ability to see what time the media will finish. It helped me tell if I should pause and go to bed or avoid starting another episode because the math was already done when I hit play. Is there any way to display this or are there any devs that can hear this and make it come back?

And when you toggle subtitles during playback, it will still say “No Subtitle” even though it’s running one.
Subs have always been an issue. I have to enable them after I start anything otherwise my PMS CPU maxes out/transcodes. If I do it during playback, it works great. So bizarre.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
