Does any developer know if the features implemented yesterday in plex Media Server, including trailers and special features is possible to implement in PlexConnect?

What has this thread got to do with Apple? This thread is about changes to PMS and Plex clients allowing Trailers, Extra's etc.
Is it safe to assume the trailers and new featuers won't work on PlexConnect without manipulating them using pillow and user-generated themes? I don't fully understand yet.
