I’m seeing this behavior very frequently but not consistently.
While watching an episode of a series, if the episode is paused or skipped forward (including the automatic “skip intro”), the episode will continue and, within several seconds, jump to the next episode in the series.
The only workaround I’ve found is to manually stop the follow-on episode, navigate back to the episode originally playing, and continue.
The most reliable way to trigger this issue is to pause an episode, turn on subtitles, and resume play. But I want to be clear that is not the only way to trigger the issue. As I said, even the automated skip intro feature frequently triggers the issue.
Please add this issue to the Plex Roku app defect queue. Let me know if you need logs to see what’s happening.
EDIT: This issue remains in the preview channel (8.6.6?)
EDIT2: I originally said the issue triggers within one second of restarting video after pause or jump. That was incorrect. It frequently takes several seconds after play begins again before the issue is triggered.
EDIT3: Appears to be resolved in Roku 8.6.7 with server 1.43
