I’m a Plex Premium user for sometime now and have never really had any problems, ever, with recording TV off air to my server but in the last month or so, all of my roku devices are having issues in skipping (forward or backwards). I can start a program that has been recorded (using “ask for commercial advance” not automatic advance) and when it gets to the point “Skip Intro” I press select and it goes back to the beginning. It will do this over and over. If I just go thru the intro and get to a point of skipping thru a commercial, it will go back to the beginning again. I have it do something similar when watching LIVE off air TV thru my HD Homerun tuners, I can skip around as I’m watching a show and BOOM I lose all control and everything that has been saved is lost. Can continue to watched it up to the point of when the recording live had crashed then Plex reset and I’m back to the HOME screen of roku. Whatever the update did back a month ago or so has screwed up my Plex viewing completely…
As a side note: Anyway we could get more info on screen about shows recorded or not. All I like to see is if any screen that show a description about a show, include the season/episode with the First date aired. Have so much issues with finding out if I have seen the show or not. We don’t always use Plex to view the latest shows so when I go in to view what is recorded I can’t quickly tell whether it’s a new episode or not… Even though Plex says it new to our viewing, it may not be the latest without this info being displayed. Have to go way down thru all various menus of this show to get this info, and why is there so many way to see the same info on one show?
