Would it be possible to have “new” topics marked as “read” (or otherwise not continue to show as “new”) once you have viewed, or scrolled past them?
So these are not ones with new posts since you last read the topic?
What I’m referring to is when, from the menu, I choose the category “new”, and if I scroll through the list without selecting any to read, when I get to the end of the list the number of new posts has not changed. My option then is to “dismiss new” and the number goes to zero.
I just think it would be nice if they would be “dismissed” as we scroll past them without reading them, because once they are seen, whether we choose to read them or not, they are no longer “new”.
