The New TV agent is not importing my embedded local Metadata for tv episodes. If I move them back to old tv agent the data is imported. I use Filebot to embed data and files are mp4.
Some of my tv episodes, like specials might be custom or not found and I have added proper titles and descriptions with dates. This information is no longer imported. It only says episode ##
Works fine with Movies, for a while the new movie agent also did not import everything but that was fixed after I logged issue a while back.

I know about this setting and it is on. I have disabled saved and then enabled it again for in case it was wonky but it did not fix it.
In the past there was a thing with older agents if you do not update certain fields it also did not bring any info in I think it was (title, date, description) all had to be supplied. I have update a bunch more but it also does not seem to make a difference.
Ok, I have found the real problem although it is such a basic programming error on Plex side.
If you add an episodes with uppercase file extensions “MP4” it does not read filename or Metadata. Change them to lowercase “mp4” and you are good to go.
I have not tested if this also affects movies, i do not think so.
