New TV shows not matching every single time

Everytime I add a TV show, Plex is not matching it. I have to manually “match” them to get the correct metadata. There isn’t even a “Fix Match” option, just “Match”, which tells me that it is not trying to match them when they get scanned. This does not happen with movies. Sonarr adds my TV shows and Plex automatically scans the library for any partial changes. The last three shows that I added are:

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Marvel Studios: Legends
WandaVision

This exact same issue happens on two separate PMS that are on the same beta version and are on separate Debian boxes with the same version as well.

So I had to do a Plex Dance because of a different issue. All metadata for my movie library were downloaded just fine. For my TV shows, look at this:

It’s really obvious that there is a bug with the TV shows library. Any help here please?

I have this happening on two PMS that I own. Every single time a new TV show is added to the library, it doesn’t auto-match. I have correct filename structure, for example:

Same issue, newly added TV Shows are not matched, I have to manually match them.

I had to manually match everything too. I can’t believe this isn’t considered a major bug.

Engineering was able to incorporate a change which works with the changed TheTVDB sorting.

I’ve tested and am using it. I did have to fix a few matched (because they were wrong) but otherwise all unmatched matched up automatically.

Server version you need is 1.21.2.3943

Thanks for the feedback @ChuckPa. I’m glad it was acknowledged and work upon by engineering. I already have 1.21.2.3943 so I’m assuming this is already fixed. If I had matched everything manually, do I need to re-do everything and do the Plex Dance again with this fixed PMS version?

If you’ve matched it manually, you’re set.

You should find that everything new works as it should / used to.
