New version on iOS 2025.13.0 h265 transcode

I have an Plex pass account created 2012. And I have a Plex account with no Plex pass. Before this big update I could download everything with my Plex account created 2012 to my Plex client account with no Plex pass. In my client the download button show in everything, movies, episodes, tv shows everything. Since the big update the download button don’t show on my client account. Has show in picture.

And what I was trying to tell you is that grandparents account still has that privileges. If Plex pass account was created before 2022 and Plex normal account was created before 2022 it should work. Plex pass account sharing with a no Plex pass account both created before 2022 should appear the download button. Has it shows on this Plex new rules.

And in one update it said it fixed that.

So I’m just waiting to understand why download button don’t show. If you can tell me I would appreciate. Thanks.

Grandfathered account should be able to download.

There is currently an open ticked where the Download button is not being shown for those accounts.

It works normally for active PlexPass accounts.

It looks like the work is being completed now. it will make it in time for the release (should)

And if you can try to transcode a movie with embebed MOV_TEXT subtitle. It becomes huge.. with SRT embedded subtitle it works fine. And with PGS embebed subtitle works fine too. But 90% of my movies have MOV_TEXT subtitles. If you can fix that too it will be great.

Finalllyyyyyy… grandfathered accounts fixed on this updated. 2025.15.0 (1045). In time everything will be back to normal. Plex will always be the best streaming app. Just a little patience and Plex guys will go back on track. Now just need to fix the transcoding embebed subtitles in MOV_TEXT. When transcoding they become huge… but I have confidence that Plex devs will ear us once again.
