new view: Recently Added AND Unwatched

Hi,

ever since the “old Plex” I’ve been waiting for this very useful view to return. I can view recently added, and I can view unwatched, but I can’t combine them. So I end up sifting through 20 already watched movies that I added recently, just to find that one that I haven’t watched yet. Please bring this back.

Thanks

Sascha

Sounds great in theory, but that’s what Recently added does automatically when in the homescreen. Anything already watched but recently added will not show up there, or it will show up in On Deck if it’s not over.

I do agree though, that would be a quick, easy filter for people that want to browse the entire library, and not stay on the homepage.

the API for that was added with the new PMS release. The new web manger can do just that  Or every other combination of searches.

So it should not be that hard to add this to the client.

please add it to other clients not just web, my Samsung blu-ray player which runs plex needs this too

@aussiefeld: I believe this is implemented in pretty much all clients directly offered by Plex – at least it’s in the Plex Media Player, Plex for iOS/tvOS and Android (TV).

If I remember correctly, the Samsung player is a 3rd party product. You might be better off getting some feedback if/how to get a similar experience on your device in the Smart TV forums.
