Newbie - Plex running ok on lan, can be seen by other PCs but not on Windows and Android appvia wifi

Player Version#: 2025.22.0 (=latest)

Note: advanced user but new to Plex

My W11 server is up and running and libraries are finished. Other computers or mobile devices on the LAN work fine via the browser only. App-wise, things are different.

Windows: I see the server but get an error when trying to play any media type

Android: I only see the Plex media offering for movies and series etc. but my server is nowhere to be found.

Any help or link to an article is welcome.

Update from the author: a server reboot seemed to have resolved this behaviour.

Next hurdle: remote access, a tad more difficult than usual since I have double NATting in my setup but other services were successfully exported to the outside before.
