Newbie question - folders empty

Plex Media Server Metadata & Adding Files

Hi All i have a wd mycloud and i am having issues with either videos not been seen in the library when i have uploaded them of the folders have nothing in.
Files named in the folder are ie Endeavour S01E01 Muse.mkv
are they not named correctly

Thanks I have read that but dont really understand it TBH

if the folder is named Endeavour and the files in it are as Endeavour S01E01 Muse.mkv
Should this work

Is the Plex library even of the type “TV Shows”?
Because the file name is that of a tv show episode. And it won’t be shown in Plex, if the library type is “Movies”.
