Newbie questions

Hi, I have just installed Plex Media Server from my QNAP NAS TS-563, updated the version through the Plex website and now I am trying to get this to work so I can play my Music on my sound system YAMAH RX-A850. All my music is loacated on the NAS, under directory Public (\KOBZOUS-NAS)\Music\Amy Winehouse\Frank (just an example). The music files themselves are a mix of MP3 and WMA files ripped from their original CDs. I am trying to load that into this Plex Media Server, but when I select add library and point it to /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Public/Music, it says: Libraries are currently being updated, to finish of with the message: There are no items in this library.
I am at a loss as to how to get my music into this Server. I cannot seem to find any usefull info on this Forum that explains in simple terms how to do this.
I hope someone might be able to sort me out with this.
Cheers,
Martin

How are your files named?
Do you have id3 tags?

See attached.
I use Windows Media Player to rip my CD to my harddrive, sometimes in MP3 format, sometimes (most I think) in WMA format. Now with my NAS I wanted to be able to play and use playlists through my YAMAHA RX-A850, where at the moment I cannot use playlists. I can only play a record at the time.
Hope this helps somewhat.

Have you reviewed this?

Playlists cannot be used when using a generic DLNA client.

nokdim, I have and if that means that I have to rename / re-organise all my music files, then I will give this Plex a miss. This seems to be way to hard to do a, what I assumed to be, simple task.

OttoKerner, If that is the case then as per my answer to nokdim, there does not seem to be any use for this Plex.
Thanks for replying, I do appreciate that.
Chhers,
