- That’s the real question here as sabnzbd don’t interact with each other or share folders. I don’t know why it should impact Plex in any way but the timing of which files work and which don’t are 100% tied to when that happened. I just assumed that sabnzbd somehow mangled the permissions on files it downloaded but admittedly I don’t really know how permissions work and carry with files moved around. The app downloads to a temp directory, moves to another directory once completed and then 2 other apps handle renaming and moving them to their proper home on the NAS (1 app for TV, 1 for movies). At which point Plex is notified to scan for changes.
- I attempted this and NONE of the files I copied work from the “new” library. It seems that Plex must be the culprit and not working with any newly added files. The error it pops up is exactly the same from the start of my thread.
- The NAS is QNAP. My mount is based on this. I’ll admit it’s not exactly to that guide as it was already mounted and setup with the system BEFORE putting a Plex server on it, but for all intents and purposes my configuration most closely resembles that. I may look in to changing it to match the guide exactly down the road once I can move past the current problem but after the test you had me try in step 2 I feel like my NAS/mount is not currently the problem.
It’s starting to seem that the issue is somewhere in my Plex setup based on the results of trying a '“new library”. I don’t believe I made any changes to it however I guess it is safe to say I can not rule it out. Is there anything we can try with it or am I now destined to nuke my install and start all over ?
